Dr Jasveer Mangat is a dedicated and leading consultant paediatric cardiologist in London. He specialises in electrophysiology, including ablation procedures and the implantation of pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
In 2000, Dr Mangat received his primary medical qualification from the University of Liverpool. He undertook his postgraduate training between London and Liverpool. Whilst training, Dr Mangat completed a fellowship in electrophysiology.
Dr Mangat continues to research, with interests such as improving outcomes from cardiac ablation therapies and pacing procedures as well as the quality of life for patients living with arrhythmia.
Working with the paediatric cardiology team, Dr Mangat diagnoses and manages patients with inherited, congenital, and acquired heart disease. As well, he leads a team which delivers electrophysiology/ablation with minimal fluoroscopy for children. The team also delivers pacing and ICD implantation, all including follow up care.
