About Dr. Jayanth Sundar Sampath Dr. Jayanth Sundar Sampath is a Paediatric Orthopaedist of high acclaim with experience of more than 25 years. He is proficient in treating children’s fractures, cerebral palsy, clubfoot, complex limb deformities, poliomyelitis, Muscular dystrophy, and neuropathy. Dr. Jayanth was instrumental in setting up the Bangalore Institute of Movement Research and Analysis (BIMRA), a unit with facility for 3-D walking and movement analysis. This institute provides rational and scientific decisions for children with cerebral palsy, adults with neurological problems, running and sports analysis to prevent injuries in athletes and assessment of injured athletes. He has pioneered the usage of the Fassier-Duvall Telescopic rod for Osteogenesis Imperfecta and the 8-plate device for correction of knee flexion contractures in children with cerebral palsy. He was a faculty member of the MCh Ortho program at Wrightington Hospital UK.  He has also regularly lectured on the Paediatric Orthopaedic course at Alder Hey Hospital.  He successfully organized the 1st International Meeting on Hip disorders in Cerebral Palsy at Liverpool, in March 2010. The doctor attends conferences and delivers numerous guest lectures at conferences and CME programs held in India and abroad. Dr. Jayanth is the Organising Secretary of the Annual Conference of Paediatric Orthopaedics 2016 in Bangalore He is a member of several prestigious associations that include: Paediatric Orthopaedic Society of India, Bangalore Orthopaedic Society, Karnataka Orthopaedic Association and Indian Orthopaedic Society (IOS UK). He also takes interest in research and has 25 publications in peer-reviewed international journals. He has also authored chapters in books.
