About Dr. Jaydeep Palep Dr. Jaydeep Palep is a bariatric surgeon with 18+ years of experience. He is the first surgeon to perform a Robotic Gastro-intestinal surgery in 2010. He is one of the few surgeons performing all types of bariatric surgeries like Banded Sleeve Gastrectomy, Banded Gastric Bypass and Mini Gastric Bypass. Dr. Palep also performs Sleeve Gastrectomy with Duodenojejunal bypass- a new and popular weight loss surgery with excellent outcomes with respect to excess weight loss. He has a special interest in bariatric surgery, single incision surgery, surgery for reversal of type II Diabetes Mellitus, Robotic GI Surgery and Advanced and complex GI and HPB surgeries. He is a member of OSSI (Obesity Surgery Society of India), Clinical Robotic Surgery Association, Indian Assoc of Gastro-intestinal Endo surgeons and Assoc of Minimal Access Surgeons of India.
