About Dr. JosepMasso Asencio Dr. JosepMasso Asencio is a cardiologist with more than 40 years of expertise in this field. Services provided by him includes diagnosis of different heart diseases, cardiac imaging, atherosclerosis, hypertension and cardiovascular prevention in general, and many more.  In the academic year 1980-81, he earned a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery. In 1987, he became a Cardiology Specialist at the Hospital de la Santa Creu I Sant Pau in Barcelona. Since 2004, he has been in charge of echocardiography at Hospital Quirónsalud, a service leased by the Institut Català de la Salut. Since 1984, he has attended numerous symposia, meetings, national and international congresses in his field. He has a number of clinical publications in the fields of echocardiography, heart failure, and cardiovascular prophylaxis. He has been in charge of the execution, planning, and monitoring of a number of clinical trials in the cardiovascular field.
