About Dr. Junghyun Kang Dr. Junghyun Kang is an eminent Surgical Gastroenterologist with 20+ years in the field. He is a member of the Academic Committee of the Korean Endoscopic and Laparoscopy Society, the Korean Surgery Association, the Endoscopy Management Committee of the Korean Society of Colon and Anus, the Health Insurance Committee of the Korean Society for Oncology Surgery, etc. He is also the secretary of the Academic Committee, Korean Society for Oncology Surgery, and did his training at the Cleveland Clinic, USA, Dept. of Quantitative Health Sciences in 2020.  He completed his Bachelor of Medicine at Yonsei University in 2001 and a Master’s Degree at the same university in 2008. He also went on to pursue his M.D. and Ph.D. from Yonsei University in 2018 for further specialization in the field. Dr. Kang’s main clinical interest lies in hepatobiliary cancer, pancreatic cancer, minimally invasive surgical treatment, colorectal cancer, adult hernia, and laparoscopic surgery, sarcoma, hernia, etc. He has more than 50 scientific publications, chapters in books and is an invited speaker in worldwide meetings and conferences.
