About Dr. K. A. Salam Dr. K. A. Salam is a well-experienced Neurologist with 40+ years of experience. His area of interest lies in Stroke, Neuroimmunology, and Behavioral Neurology. He completed his MBBS from J.N. Medical College, Belgaum in 1974 followed by MD in General Medicine from Govt Medical College, Mysore in 1978. Later, he pursued DM in Neurology from Govt Medical College, Madras in 1983. He has an instrumental role in establishing the Neuroscience Department at Baby Memorial Hospital. He is also a founder of the Calicut Neurological Society (CNS) which has become an active forum for learning. He is a former president of the Neurological Society of India (NSI) Kerala chapter and the Kerala Association of Neurologists (KAN).
