About Dr. Kang Seongil Dr. Kang Seongil is a Daegu-based Surgical Gastroenterologist with 15+ years in the field. He is a lifetime member of the Korean Surgery Society, the Korean Colon and Anus Society, Korean Oncology Surgery, the Korean Society of Endoscopic Laparoscopy Lifetime member, the Korean Surgical Ultrasound Society, the European Colon & Anus Society. He graduated from medical school at Kyungpook National University in 1983 and a Doctor of Medicine from Yeungnam University in 1991. His main clinical interest lies in colorectal cancer, Hepatobiliary cancer, Pancreatic cancer, minimally invasive surgical treatment, gastric cancer, adult hernia, and laparoscopic surgery, sarcoma, hernia, etc. Dr. Kang has published many well-researched scholarly articles for various reputed journals, national and international.
