About Dr. Kim Jong-hoon Dr. Kim Jong-hoon is a Daegu-based South Korean Neurosurgeon with 12+ years in the field. He is an active member of the Neurosurgical Society of cerebrovascular surgery, the Society for Cerebral Vascular Surgery, and also Stroke Association of South Korea. He completed his graduation and M.S. from Yeungnam University and eventually worked as a resident at the same institution. He has several accolades in South Korea namely, the Oral Presentation award in the Best Is the Korean Society of Stereotactic and the Functional Neurosurgery, Korean Society for Cerebrovascular Surgery Regular Academic Award, and more. He specializes in Cerebrovascular disease surgery (cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction), intravascular surgery (thrombectomy, cerebral aneurysm coil embolization), carotid artery disease, headache, dizziness, etc. Dr. Kim has co-authored numerous research papers for medical journals in South Korea and abroad.
