About Dr. Kim Seon-Hahn Dr. Kim Seon-Hahn is a Seoul-based Surgical Gastroenterologist with 24 years in the field. He is a respected member of The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS), the International Society for Digestive Surgery (ISDS, formerly CICD), the Korean Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Society, Membership Committee of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, and more. He is also the founding member of the Clinical Robotic Surgery Association (CRSA), Chairman of the Korean Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery Study Gro, and also the Korean Robotic Colorectal Surgery Study Group. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Korea University College of Medicine in 1983 and a Masterâs Degree at the Medicine Korea University Graduate School in 1987. Furthermore, he has a Ph.D. from the Korea University Graduate School, which he received in 1993. His area of interest lies in the minimally invasive surgical treatment of colon cancer, gastric cancer, sarcoma, hernia, etc. He has published several journals in national and international medical journals along with chapters in textbooks.
