About Dr. Kim Sung Geun Dr. Kim Sung Geun is a Seoul-based Surgical Gastroenterologist with over 23 years in the field. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea in 1997, and a Masterâs Degree at the same university in 2006. He also went on to pursue his M.D. and Ph.D. from The Catholic University of Korea in 2011 for further specialization in the field. His main clinical interest lies in gastric cancer, upper gastrointestinal diseases, minimally invasive surgical treatment of colon cancer, colorectal cancer, coloanal disorders, adult hernia, and laparoscopic surgery, sarcoma, hernia, etc. He has authored more than 50 publications and more than 20 chapters in books.
