About Dr. Kim Young-Hoon Dr. Kim Young-Hoon is a Seoul-based Interventional Cardiologist with 36+ years in the field. He is the President of the Asia-Pacific Heart Rhythm Society (ARHRS), Advisory Board of the St Jude Medical, Inc. USA, Proctor of the Center of Excellence, St Jude Medical, Inc. USA, and more. He is also a member of the Korean Society for Lipid and Atherosclerosis, the Korean Society for Hypertension, Heart Rhythm Society, and the Asia-Pacific Heart Rhythm Society(ARHRS). He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Chairman of the Scientific Program Committee. He completed his Full rotating Internship at the Korea University Medical Center, Seoul Korea in 1984, and Research Fellowship at the Arrhythmia Research Institute Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, LA, the USA in 1998. Dr. Kim has extensive experience in interventional procedures for coronary artery disease, boasting a perfect treatment record for chronic stable angina pectoris and acute myocardial infarction. He has more than 150 publications under his credit in various reputed journals nationally and internationally.
