About Dr. Kiran P. V Dr. Kiran P. V is a General Surgeon with a career of 8+ years in the field. He did his undergraduate training from KMC, Hubli, and his Fellowship from the prestigious St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore. He further gained experience working as an Assistant Professor at St. John’s Medical College and was an emergency medicine consultant at Gleneagles Global Hospital, Bangalore. He is an ATLS Instructor, a Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider and Instructor, affiliated to the American Heart Association and also completed the AHA Experienced Provider course. He obtained his MRCEM in June 2014 and was responsible for teaching and supervising junior residents and fellow students. He is competent in procedures such as endotracheal intubation, intercoastal drainage, central venous cannulation, arterial line insertion and minor surgical procedures like incision and drainage of abscesses, suturing of wounds and removal of foreign bodies. Dr. Kiran has also penned well-researched publications in international and national journals.
