About Dr. Komal Prasad Dr. Komal Prasad is a neurosurgeon with 20+ years of experience. His areas of expertise include Epilepsy Surgery, Neurovascular Surgery, Neuro-oncology, Neuro-endoscopy and Spinal Surgery. He is a member of Neurological Society of India, European Association of Neurosurgical Societies, Neuro Spinal Surgeons Association India (NSSA) and Karnataka Medical Council. Dr. Prasad completed MBBS from Mysore Medical College & Research Institute, Mysore, MS in General Surgery from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli, DNB in General Surgery from National Board of Examination, India and MCh in Neuro Surgery from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology, Trivandrum. He has also Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Care Management. He did neurosurgical training from SCT Institute, Trivandrum and management of traumatic brain injuries training from NIMHANS. He is an Assessor for NABH Quality Council in India.
