About Dr. Koray Urgu Dr. Koray Urgu is a well-known Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon at Adem and Havva Medical Center in Istanbul, Turkey. After completing his high school from Bornova Anatolian High School in 1997, Dr. Koray Urgu graduated from the Medical Faculty of Ege University in 2004 after which he was granted the title of ‘Doctor’.  During his residency, Dr. Koray Urgu also participated in many plastic surgery operations.  In 2011, Dr. Koray Urgu successfully completed his specialisation from the Faculty of Medicine in Dokuz Eylul University from the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.  Dr. Koray Urgu was associated with various healthcare institutions including Rize Training and Research Hospital (2011-2013), Private Gazi Hospital (2013-2015) and Private Medical Park Hospital (2015-2017).  Since 2017, Dr. Koray Urgu has been working in his private clinic in Istanbul.  Dr. Koray Urgu was honored with Expert Research Competition First Prize in Experimental Category by the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Association in 2011.  Dr. Koray Urgu has achieved certifications in various courses such as Effective Presentation Techniques Course, Cranio-maxillo-facial Fixations Applied Course, Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Qualification Certificate, Certificate of Use of Experimental Animals, VI. Basic Microsurgery Course, III. Plastic Surgery School, III. Rhinoplasty course, V. Rhinoplasty Course, and 32nd Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Congress Endoscopic Functional Nasal Surgery Applied Course. Dr. Koray Urgu has been associated with various associations including TPRECD (Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association), TTB (Turkish Medical Association Istanbul Medical Chamber), EPCD (Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association) and BALEV (Bornova Anatolian High School Education Foundation).
