About Dr. Krunal Tamakuwala Dr. Krunal Tamakuwala is an Interventional Cardiologist with over 7 years of professional experience. He has performed more than 5000 Coronary Interventions Angiography and Angioplasty including angiographies in bypass patients, and Primary Angioplasties in acute MI patients (PAMI).  He has performed more than 50 Peripheral and Renal Angioplasties and more than 100 Complex Interventions like Bifurcation stenting, IVUS and OCT guided stenting, and Chronic Total Occlusion stenting, ROTA ablation in heavily calcified vessels. He has performed more than 100 pacemakers like Single chamber, Dual-chamber, AICD and CRTD. He has assisted in Device closures like ASD, VSD and PDA and successfully treated more than 1000 Heart Failure patients. He specializes in Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral and Coronary Angiography, Angioplasty, Stenting, Valvuloplasty, Permanent Pacemaker Implantation, and Complex Echocardiography. He’s a member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA). Dr. Krunal Tamakuwala has completed his MBBS from Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education & Research Centre (SMIMER), Gujarat. He obtained his MD from Padmashree Dr D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Gujarat. He completed DM from Smt. BK Shah Medical Institute & Research Centre, Gujarat He has Fellowships in Complex Coronary Interventions from Japan and South Korea (2018-19). He is the author of numerous papers and publications.
