About Dr. Kumaresan Kannan Dr. Kumaresan Kannan is a practicing Interventional Cardiologist with a vast experience of +23 years. As a life member, he is associated with the  Association Of Physicians Of India, the Indian Medical Association and the Cardiological Society of India. He is also the Vice President of the Chennai Chapter of the Cardiological Society Of India. Dr. Kannan is an  MBBS, MD and DM degree holder. He is an expert interventional cardiologist who performs temporary and permanent pacemaker implants, coronary bypass surgery, cardiac catheterisation, percutaneous coronary intervention, balloon angioplasty, stent implantation and mitral valve replacement among a few other procedures. Dr. Kannan was felicitated with an award in 2012 by the Rotary Club. He has presented well-researched articles at various conferences.  Dr. Kannan also researched preventive cardology which was presented to the RBI.
