About Dr. Kwon Hyeok-moon Dr. Kwon Hyeok-moon is an Interventional Cardiologist based in Seoul, South Korea with 37+ years of experience in the field. He is the Director of the Korean Society of Thrombosis Hemostasis, Councilor of the Society for Cardiovascular Intervention, Vice President of the Cardiovascular Research Institute, and more. He completed his graduation from the Yonsei University College of Medicine in 1984 and supported it later with M.S. from the same institute in 1998. He also completed his Research Fellowship at the Department of internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, Mayo Clinic & Mayo Foundation in 1997. His areas of interest include Angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, coronary artery intervention, vascular intervention-peripheral vascular disease, aortic disease (aortic aneurysm, aortic dissection), angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, and many more. Dr. Kwon has authored several papers examining various cardiac treatments and surgical procedures.
