About Dr Lee Chern Siang Dr Lee Chern Siang is an oncologist having more than 12 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes breast cancer, oesophageal and gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer (including neuroendocrine cancer), bile duct and gall bladder cancer, liver cancer, immunotherapy and molecular medicine, clinical trials, and patient advocacy, with special interest in geriatric oncology (cancers in the elderly). He received his medical degree at Barts and the London School of Medicine in London with an intercalated first-class degree in Molecular Medicine in 2005. He completed his internship and general (internal) medicine training in London and Southampton. He then undertook specialist Medical Oncology training in University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust and Portsmouth Hospital University NHS Trust, UK, in 2016. He was appointed National Institute of Health Research Academic Clinical Fellow during his specialist training and had the opportunity to undertake translational research as a Cancer Research UK Clinical Research Fellow. Dr Lee is experienced in the management and treatment of a wide spectrum of cancer patients â having worked across academic research centres and in district general hospitals in UK. He is familiar with current guidelines for evidence-based practice as well as dealing with complex cancer patients, including those participating in âfirst-in-manâ and late phase clinical studies. He participated in several large international clinical trials across different cancer types and was the site Principal Investigator in some of these studies. Dr Lee Chern Siang is fluent in English.
