Dr Lee Lim

About

Dr Lee Lim is a highly esteemed and extensively experienced consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist and reproductive medicine subspecialist consultant who currently practices at the renowned The Manor Hospital, Oxford. Specialising in general gynaecology and obstetrics, Dr Lim’s main areas of expertise include polycystic ovaries (PCOS), menstrual disorders, hormone replacement therapy, fibroids, endometriosis, as well as various fertility treatments. 

Today, the revered reproductive medicine subspecialist holds numerous roles at the Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) NHS Foundation Trust, Oxford. Not only is she the teaching programme director and the teaching lead for Oxford Deanery, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), but she is so too the advanced training skills modules director in Oxford Deanery, as well as the fertility service lead consultant and gynaecology governance lead at Oxford University Hospitals.

The exceptional Dr Lim obtained a medical degree in 1997 from the prestigious University of New South Wales, Australia. Following this, she would then go on to undertake and successfully complete specialist training at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Thus far, her phenomenal, ground-breaking reproductive medicine-related research has been recognised and deservedly awarded, having been awarded as Best Young Clinician by the highly established European Society of Human Reproduction & Embryology. Dr Lim, has, to-date, to say the least, made a significantly positive impact in the overall field of reproductive medicine throughout the UK, most notably highlighted by her direct involvement in the facilitation of the opening of a fertility clinic in China, and also assisted in the development of the Oxford clinical and teaching approach for clinicians practicing in Malaysia.
