Dr. Lorraine Stern

Dr. Lorraine Stern was born and raised in Glen Rock, New Jersey. She got an early start on her medical career in high school as a Junior Volunteer at Valley Hospital and as an EMT on the Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps. After graduating from The Frisch School in Paramus, she attended The George Washington University from which she graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Biology. Following this, she attended The George Washington University School of Medicine where she graduated as valedictorian. During her seven years at GW, she was a supervisor with the Emergency Medical Response Group (EMeRG). At graduation, she was recognized for her commitment to EMS in the GW community as the inaugural recipient of the Stern-Emerson Award; in addition, she received an EMS Excellence award from Hackensack University Medical Center and a proclamation by the Mayor and Council of Glen Rock for her commitment to EMS in Glen Rock.
