About Dr. Lynette Ngo Dr. Lynette Ngo is an oncologist having more than 24 years of expertise. Services provided by her includes genetic counselling and genetic testing, gynecologic cancers including ovarian, endometrial and cervical cancers. She earned a master’s degree in internal medicine after completing her studies at the National University of Singapore in 1996. In 2002, she became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in the UK. She earned her specialty accreditation in medical oncology from the Academy of Medicine in Singapore after receiving her postgraduate certificate in palliative medicine from Edith Cowan University in Australia. At the City of Hope Hospital in California, she also finished the intensive course in cancer risk assessment. Dr. Ngo received the Health Manpower Development Programme Award to spend a year at the Gillette Center for Gynecologic Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), USA, in order to further her specialist interest in gynecologic cancers. She was a visiting consultant to the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and the Gynaecologic Cancer Centre in addition to being a clinical tutor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. She also spent five years providing patient care in community inpatient hospice programmes as well as hospice home care. Dr. Ngo belongs to the Singapore Society of Oncology, the Asian Society of Gynecologic Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the European Society of Clinical Oncology. She also participates in the guidelines committee for the Singapore Cancer Network. Dr. Lynette Ngo is fluent in English, Malay, Hokkien, Teochew, and Mandarin.
