About Dr. M. Hakan Bulam Dr. Mehmet Hakan Bulam is one of the leading Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeons in Turkey. He started his medical career started in 2000 at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine (English). After six years of medical education, he graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. In the same year, he successfully completed the Medical Specialization Examination and started his specialization at Gazi University, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He received the title of Plastic, Reconstructive and, Aesthetic Surgery Specialist in 2012 after six years of specialization training in medicine with Turkey’s leading Plastic Surgery instructors. After completing his residency, he was successful in the written and oral international exams he took in Helsinki and Brussels in 2013 and received the title of “Member of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Specialists” (Fellow of European the Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery-FEBOPRAS). At the same time, he has a professional qualification diploma from the “Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery”. He is a full member of the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association. He is an active member of the International Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS). In 2022, he received an International Health Tourism authorization certificate. He worked in the fields of aesthetic surgery, microsurgery, cancer and repair surgery, and maxillofacial surgery, especially when he worked at the University and Education-Research Hospitals.  He has published more than 40 articles national and international journals, and many oral presentations.
