About Dr Major R S Rengan Dr Major R S Rengan is a highly-qualified and experienced General Surgeon with +15 years in performing various general surgeries. He holds professional memberships of the Associations of Surgeons of India, the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India and the Indian Association of Endocrine Surgeons. Dr. Rengan completed his MBBS from the Stanley Medical College, Chennai, followed by MS in 1994 from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. In 1996, he then earned the qualification in General and Minimal Access Surgery from the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in 1996.  He is an ATLS certified Trauma Surgeon and is experienced in polytrauma including bullet and bomb injuries as well as road traffic accidents. He is an expert at thyroid and breast surgery for cancers, besides surgically treating hernia and piles, GI, gall bladder and gynaecomastia surgeries. Dr. Rengan is the Chief Mentor of ‘Surgtest’ – a surgery learning platform for surgeons.
