About Dr. Malvika Sabharwal Dr. Malvika Sabharwal is a gynecologist and obstetrician with 39+ years of experience. She has been awarded with fourth-highest civilian award in the Republic of India – Padma Shri by President of India in 2008. She has performed more than 50,000 surgeries till now. She holds the world record of removing the largest fibroid from the uterus without harming the patient’s reproductive organ. Dr. Malvika completed her MBBS Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi and DGO from Govt. Medical College in Patiala. She has undergone laparoscopic training from internationally acclaimed gynecologist Dr. Adam Magos at Royalfree Hospital in London, followed by training in hysteroscopy from Dr. Wamsteker at Spaarne Hospital, Haarlem in Netherlands. She has many publications in international journals and writes regular health columns for Hindustan Times, Times of India, Punjab Kesari, Grihashobha, Femina and various Women’s Magazines.
