About Dr. Manabendra Bhattacharya Dr. Manabendra Bhattacharya is a highly respected and skilled Orthopedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon with specialisation in sports medicine who has been practicing for +50 years. He is a life member of the Indian Federation of Sports Medicine (IFSM) and the Indian Association of Sports Medicine (IASM).  Dr. Bhattacharya holds an MBBS degree and Diploma in Sports Medicine. He also holds certificates in Sports and Footbaal medicine from FIFA and FIFA & AFC respectively. He is an expert at surgeries for spine, scoliosis, laminectomy, disectomy, and sports injury and rehabilitation, sports injury treatment/management and bone fracture treatment among other orthopedic treatments. Several of his articles have been published in reputed medical journals. He is a faculty for teaching and management of PG Diploma in Sports Medicine, students of M.Sc and Diploma in Sports Coaching.
