About Dr. Manmeet Singh Jhawar Dr. Manmeet Singh Jhawar is a distinguished Nephrologist practicing for more than 27 years. He specializes in the management of acute and chronic kidney diseases and associated high blood pressure. He had worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nephrology at Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana.  Afterward, he worked as a Senior Resident at PGIMER, Chandigarh. In 1997, he was awarded the National Talent Search Examination scholarship. In 2004, he was awarded for being the best intern and received two gold medals – one for attaining the first position in university & college exams and the second medal for scoring the highest marks in professional MBBS examinations. In 2003, Dr. Jhawar was awarded the first prize for participating and winning the top position in UG Quiz in North Zone CME. Subsequently, in 2004, he arranged the first International Symposium of CMC Alumni. Afterward, he was invited as a Speaker at an integrated case presentation on Diabetes Mellitus in 2004. He was also privileged with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) grant for his DM thesis and was also honored with a grant for presenting a paper at the World Congress of Nephrology. Dr. Jhawar has numerous papers and presentations published in national and international journals.
