About Dr. Manoj Pahukar Dr. Manoj Pahukar is a leading and skilled Orthopedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon with an experience surpassing +16 years. He is a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences. Dr. Pahurkar completed MBBS in 1998 from Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur University and then did his MS, DNB, a fellowship from Ghent University Hospital, Belgium and a diploma from SICOT, where he learned Illizarov deformity correction at Rizzoli Institue, Italy. He also did two short-term fellowships at Bologna, Italy and in Mumbai. He has the rare honour of treating the shortest woman in the world, which has found a mention in the Guinness World Records. He is a leading and experienced orthopedist who has successfully completed +5,100 complex orthopedic surgeries. His expertise lies in, complex intra-articular fractures, pelvi-acetabular injuries, critically-ill and injured patients. The field of arthroscopic procedures for knee and shoulder joints is of particular interest to Dr. Pahukar.  Dr. Pahukar offers a range of services such as, comprehensive shoulder/knee/hip evaluation, key-hole surgery for  recurrent dislocation, rotator cuff problems and for stiff and painful shoulders, total/partial shoulder replacement surgeries, shoulder/hip/knee problems in athletes and sportsperson, key-hole surgery to treat ligament, menicus/chondral injuries, stiff and painful knee injuries like ACL/PCL tear or multi-filament tears.  He is particularly known for total knee replacement surgeries, hip revision/replacement surgeries, deformity correction/limb lengthening surgeries, pelvic acetabular injuries, critical/geriatric orthopedics and management of poly-trauma or multiple injuries.
