About Dr. Maria Vlachou Dr. Maria Vlachou is a Swedish Board Certified Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon practicing for more than 28 years. She holds expertise in treating  Neuromuscular deformities, Club foot deformity, and complex foot and ankle deformities in children and adolescents, DDH treatment, Angular and rotational deformities of lower extremities in children, Metabolic Diseases, Congenital deformities of upper and lower extremities in children, and Spine deformities (Scoliosis, kyphosis). She completed MSc in Metabolic Bone Diseases from the Medical School-Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, and MD from the Medical School-Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
