About Dr. Matthew Yeo Sze Wei Dr. Matthew Yeo Sze Wei is a plastic surgeon having more than 15 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes aesthetic medicine, aesthetic surgery and reconstructive surgery. He is particularly passionate in cosmetic procedures for the face, breasts, and body (including post-massive weight-loss contour deformities). Dr. Matthew Yeo Sze Wei earned his medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 2002. In recognition of his excellence at the national plastic surgery board examinations, Dr. Yeo received the Gold Medal from the College of Surgeons, Singapore in 2012 after completing his plastic surgery training. In 2013, he earned a position as an international fellow at the China Medical University Hospital in Taiwan, Republic of China, and finished a one-year course in advanced microsurgical reconstructive surgery. Additionally, he has finished numerous observerships in aesthetic surgery in Belgium, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United States. After passing the board exam in 2015, he received the designation of fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. He belongs to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, Singapore Society of Cosmetic (Aesthetic) Surgeons, and the Singapore Association of Plastic Surgeons. He helped with the creation of the AMS Self-Learning Module for Plastic Surgeons and the Taskforce Report on Aesthetic Medical Practice by the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (AMS). He formerly served from 2015 to 2019 as a council member and chairman of the College of Surgeons, Singapore (CSS) Chapter of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. Associate adjunct professor Dr. Yeo teaches at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He is a member of the Singapore-based MOH Plastic Surgery Residency Advisory Committee, which is in charge of regulating the country’s resident training programme. He conducts workshops and in-person demos as a trainer for several aesthetic businesses. The annual national Plastic Aesthetic Surgery Meeting is annually organised by him. Dr. Matthew Yeo Sze Wei is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Indonesia.
