About Dr. med. Stephan Geidel Dr. med. Stephan Geidel is a well-known Cardiac Surgeon with 28 years of experience in the field. He is a member of the German Cardiac Society and the European Society of Cardiology. After completing his studies in human medicine at the University of Hamburg Medical School, Germany (1985-92), he did his MD at the University of Giessen, Germany, Medical School in 1989. Later, he did his Basic Research at Max-Planck-Institute, Dept. Exp. Cardiology, Bad Nauheim, Germany from 1987-1991. He also has pursued multiple training sessions at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center New York, USA; Groupe Hospitalier Pitie-Salpetriere Paris, France; Universite de Paris – Hospital European Georges Pompidou, France; Universiteit Maastricht, The Netherlands, and OLV Clinic Aalst, Belgium. Dr. Geidel’s area of interest includes Atrial Fibrillation, Ablation Surgery, Tricuspid Valve Disease/Repair, Arterial Revascularisation/T-graft TechniqueHeart transplantation, Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery, ASD, VSD, Left Ventricular Aneurysm Surgery, Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy, etc. He has written several scientific publications and articles in national and international journals.
