About Dr. med. Volkmar Jansson Dr. med. Volkmar Jansson is an Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon with 32+ years of experience. He has professional membership of the German Society of Orthopedics and Trauma (DGU), German Society of Orthopedics and Orthopedic Surgery (DGOOC), European Orthopaedic Research Society (EORS), Association of Endoprosthetics (AE), and German Society of Biomechanics (DGfB). He first studied mechanical engineering at the University of Hannover in 1975 and later studied Medicine in 1979 at the Hannover Medical School. He has expertise in Trauma Surgery, Fracture, Hip Surgery, Bone, Biomechanics, Knee Surgery, Knee Injuries, Tissue Engineering, Biomaterials, etc. He has given numerous paper presentations at State and National conferences and written well-researched articles for many journals.
