About Dr. med. Wolfgang Schonherr Dr.med.Wolfgang Schonherr is an Orthopedic and Joint Replacement surgeon having practiced surgery with a special focus on hand surgery for 31 years. He holds professional memberships of the Society for Foot Surgery (GFFC), Association of German Surgeons (BDC) and Doctors Without Borders e. V. He is a Full member of the German Society for Hand Surgery (DGH).  During 1976-1982, he acquired medical education at Humboldt University/Charité Universitätsmedizin, Berlin.  During 1984-89, he underwent specialist training in surgery at Herzog, Dresden. Dr. Schonherr is a specialist at performing operations of malformations in children, nerve damage procedure to the hand and forearm, surgery on curved fingers at all degrees of severity and joint wear surgery.
