Dr Mike Comins is a highly experienced and widely renowned practitioner in aesthetic medicine. He is also the founder of London’s Hans Place Aesthetic Practice, where he has treated patients since 1999. Skilled in numerous procedures of aesthetic medicine, his areas of expertise lie in minimally invasive cosmetic surgical treatments for the body, such as VASER liposuction, tumescent liposuction, fat grafts and J-Plasma-renuvion.  

In 1996, Dr Comins earned his Bachelor of Medicine, from the University of London. He is accredited by the British College of Aesthetic Medicine (BCAM) and since 1998, has been practising aesthetic medicine as opposed to cosmetic surgery. The benefit of this is that patients don’t require general anaestheric and all treatments are carried out as day cases.  

Dr Comins offers patients treatments at both Hans Place Aesthetic Practice and the Private Clinic, Harley Street. As a pioneer of aesthetic medicine in the UK, Dr Comins performed the first Hi Definition Vaser liposuction in the UK in 2008. Hans Place Practice was the first clinic in the UK to offer Hi Definition Vaser liposuction and since then has performed 1000’s of body contouring treatments..  

In addition to his clinical work, is an active figure in the aesthetic industry. From 2009 to 2011, he was president of the BCAM and is currently a fellow of the BCAM. In 2012, he formed part of the cosmetic interventions group, to consult The Department of Health to improve standards in the cosmetic industry. He has authored various features for the Aesthetics journal. He has been a  member of the faculty of the Advanced Body Sculpting Institute based in the USA and of the faculty of the European College of Aesthetic Medicine. The results of Dr Comins’s treatments have been featured by various media outlets, such as the Daily Mail and ITV’s This Morning and GMTV.
