About

Dr Mymoona Alzouebi is a highly experienced and proficient consultant clinical oncologist who specialises in prostate cancer, bladder cancer, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, kidney cancer, as well as immunotherapy. She currently practises at the cancer-specialist clinic Sheffield Oncology. She is also the current uro-oncology, radiotherapy, and paediatric radiotherapy lead at the Sheffield-based Weston Park Hospital.

Dr Alzouebi, whose main research interests include hormonal therapy, advanced radiotherapy techniques, ureter cancer, as well as palliative and curative cancer treatments, successfully completed an MBBS in medicine at the University of Sheffield in 2004, which was quickly followed by an MRCP, obtained from the esteemed Royal College of Physicians London three years later. She would then later achieve quite the educational milestone, by completing a master’s degree in oncology and cancer biology at Nottingham University in 2010.

Once Dr Alzouebi had successfully finished her general medical training in the Yorkshire Deanery, she decided to undertake a clinical oncology training programme at Weston Park Hospital, before gaining another impressive qualification, this time coming in the form of a FRCR (2012). Her medical articles, which largely centre on cancer treatment, have been widely published in various renowned medical publications. She is a member of the Medical Defence Union, the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR), as well as the British Uro-Oncology Group.
