About Dr. Nilesh K Oswal Dr. Nilesh K Oswal has +12 years of experience as a Paediatric Cardiac Surgeon.  His affiliations with medical societies include, the British Congenital Cardiac Association, the Association of European Paediatric Cardiology (AEPC), the Medical Protection Society, UK and the Indian Academy of Paediatrics. Dr. Oswal did his MBBS in 1997 from B.J Medical College, followed by D. Paed in 1999 and MD in 2000 from Gujarat University. In 2002, he earned a fellowship from Madras Medical Mission. This was followed by the completion of advanced training from Royal College of Paediatric and Child Health in 2006. In 2014, he obtained a certification from the Joint Royal Colleges of Physicians Training Board.  He has extensive training and experience in managing children with complex congenital heart defects till adulthood.   Dr. Oswal has performed +1500 cardiac catheterisations. In India, he has performed +1200 catheterisations per year.  Dr. Oswal is an expert pediatric cardiac surgeon, known to perform interventional cardiac catheterization for congenital heart disease such PDA device closure, VSD device closure, ASD device closure, stenting of PA branches, balloon dilatation of pulmonary valve, coarctation of the aorta, inserting a temporary and permanent pacemaker and PPVI.  He has a particular interest in adult congenital heart disease and has performed cardiac catherisation in such adults.  Dr. Oswal has participated in several research projects and was a faculty member for PG students and nursing staff.  Dr. Oswal has a few papers published in reputed medical journals.
