About Dr. Nitin Sonavane Dr. Nitin Sonavane is a Nephrologist with nearly 15+ years of experience in the field. He is an Active Member of the Maharastra Medical Council and Indian Medical Association. He pursued MBBS from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in 1999, MD – General Medicine from Topiwala National Medical College & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital in 2005, and DNB – Nephrology from Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai in 2009. He has had training under the well-known Dr. Ho Yung Lee, MD, Ph.D., Director of Nephrology & Chief of the Institute of Kidney Disease. He has also received a Travel Grant for scientific peritoneal Dialysis course at Yonsei University, Severance Hospital, South Korea Dr. Sonavane specializes in areas such as ABO-incompatible Blood Group Kidney Transplant, Adult Nephrology, Renal (Kidney) Surgery, Kidney Stone Treatment, Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Nephrology ICU, etc. He has publications and scientific presentations at national and international journals.
