About Dr. Omer Polat Dr. Ömer Polat is a young and skilled Cosmetic Surgeon with +11 years of experience in the field of cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries. He completed his MD in 2011 from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Ankara, Turkey after which he did his residency. In 2017, he did an observership at ASAN Medical Centre, South Korea and also was a visiting fellow at Töölö Hospital. He then did his specialisation in 2018 from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine.  Dr. Polat earned several certifications between 2011-20, from Turkish and European medical schools. He is an expert cosmetic surgeon known to perform breast reconstruction, head & neck reconstruction, microsurgery, aesthetic breast reconstruction, rhinoplasty, repair of facial fractures and surgical facial rejuvenation. He also treats skin cancers and non-surgical facial rejuvenation. During his career at various hospitals, he earned surgical skills to perform cleft lip & palate surgeries, congenital hand anomalies, maxillofacial traumas, otoplasty, blepharoplasty, facelift, otoplasty, breast augmentation/reduction, body contouring and post-bariatric procedures.  Dr. Polat is a very active member in medical circles and has attended several meetings and courses. He was also the moderator at the 40th Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons National Congress, 2018 in Antalya. He has made many presentations at various cosmetic surgery conferences and has a few publications.
