About Dr. Ong Sea Hing Dr. Ong Sea Hing is a cardiologist having more than 20 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes acute myocardial infarction, coronary angioplasty and stenting, structural heart interventions and transcatheter aortic valve implantation. Dr. Ong earned the best grade in his MBBS Year 3 class and graduated from the University of Malaya in 2000. In 2004, he earned his post-graduate degrees from the National University of Singapore, the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians, MRCP (UK), and the Masters of Medicine (Internal Medicine).  His further cardiology training was completed in part at the National Heart Center and in Changi General Hospital. The Singapore Ministry of Health recognised him as a specialist in cardiology in 2008. He then received the Singhealth HMDP prize, which allowed him to train from March 2010 to April 2011 at the renowned Siegburg Heart Centre in Germany. He got training in structural heart interventions such as transcatheter aortic valve implantation, percutaneous mitral valve repair, and left atrial appendage occlusion during this time, in addition to training in coronary interventions. Dr. Ong has organised numerous public forums and general practitioners symposiums with an emphasis on prevention and early diagnosis of cardiac problems since he firmly believes that prevention is better than cure. Dr. Ong is fluent in English, Mandarin, Bahasa, Indonesia, Cantonese, Hokkien, Malay, and Foochow.
