About Dr. Pakpong Wathanaoran Dr. Pakpong Wathanaoran is a highly educated and a specialised Laparoscopic Surgeon with +18 years of experience in the field of laparoscopic surgeries. He completed his MD with second class honours in 2003 from Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand. Prior to this, he did many certificates and a diploma during 1985-90. In 2005, he purused a Master’s at the Mahidol University, Thailand. Thereafter, between 2006-15, he did three certificate courses at workshops held by leading medical institutes. Here, he earned advanced knowledge of colorectal diseases, gastrectomy and endoscopic thyroidectomy.  Dr. Wathanaoran has additional qualifications such as a fellowship and two certificates earned at various courses during 2016. He is an expert at laparoscopic surgeries, colectomies, abdominal surgeries, endoscopic thyroidectomy, gastrectomy, hernia surgeries and GI surgeries. He also examines and treats bariatrics and metabolic conditions.  Dr. Wathanaoran has co-authored a few research papers on some aspects of his surgical practice.
