About Dr. Pankaj Venkatrao Deshpande Dr. Pankaj Venkatrao Deshpande is a renowned Paediatric Nephrologist with nearly 24 years of experience in the field.  He has been an active part of organizations such as the official doctor (pediatric) for the Transplant  Games,  Birmingham 1999, Organisation of DCH examinations in  Bombay, 1994, Official doctor for the blood donation drive conducted by  KEM  cardiology unit in  Bombay in 1993, and also the HosteL Secretary for two years at  Bai  Jerbai  Wadia  Hospital,  Bombay. After completing his MBBS, he pursued MD (Pediatrics) from Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital and KEM hospital in 1995 and then went to the UK where he did his MRCP course. He has also done DCH in India (1994) and FCPS (Child Health) in India (1995). Dr. Deshpande has been honored with several awards and recognitions during his tenure. He specializes in areas such as Management of conditions like nephrotic syndrome with relapses, nephritis, blood in the urine, Dialysis for acute kidney failure (Peritoneal, hemodialysis), Detection and management of conditions like Renal tubular acidosis, etc.
