About Dr. Park Mi-young Dr. Park Mi-young is a well-known Neurologist based in Daegu, South Korea with 25+ years in the field. She is the President of the Korean Society for Dementia (2014), Director of the Korean Parkinson’s and Abnormal Movement Diseases Association, Director of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Dementia Research Group, President of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Neurology Branch (2013-2014), and Member of the World Society of Movement Disorders. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the field, she has pursued her graduation, M.S., and Ph.D. in the field. She specializes in Parkinson’s disease and abnormal motor disorders (tremors, gait disorders, quadriceps), dementia and memory disorders, headaches and pains, dystrophy and facial nerve disorders, botox treatment, Peripheral nerve and muscle disease, spinal cord disease, and more. Dr. Park has publications in some of the pre-eminent journals nationally and internationally to his credit.
