About Dr. Park Sung-Soo Dr. Park Sung-Soo is a Seoul-based Surgical Gastroenterologist with 24 years in the field. He is a respected member of The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS), the International Society for Digestive Surgery (ISDS, formerly CICD), European Association of Coloproctology (EACP), The Korean Society of Clinical Oncology, and more. He is also the Founding member of the Clinical Robotic Surgery Association (CRSA), and Chairman of the Korean Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery Study Group and the Korean Robotic Colorectal Surgery Study Group. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Korea University College of Medicine in 1983 and a Masterâs Degree at the Medicine Korea University Graduate School in 1987. His main clinical interest lies in the minimally invasive surgical treatment of colon cancer, gastric cancer, morbid obesity, sarcoma, hernia, etc. He has received various accolades for his contribution to Gastroenterology and has several journals in national and international medical journals along with textbooks.
