About Dr. Parvathi Unninayar Iyer Dr. Parvathi Unninayar Iyer is a Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon with an extensive 37+ experience. Persuaded her MBBS from All India Institute of Medical Sciences followed by MD in Pediatrics from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Chandigarh then she did her fellowship from the reputed Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. She is a dynamic doctor who initiated the first integrated program that incorporated an intensivist in India,  started the first dedicated pediatric cardiac ICU in Northern India at FEHI, and the first to generate internationally comparable outcomes in neonatal and infant cardiac surgery and surgery for complex congenital heart disease. Dr. Iyer has trained more 20 pediatric cardiac intensivists who are manning ICUs nationally and internationally and she is frequently invited as a chairperson in the conferences, Seminars, CDE’s, etc. Efficiently handles Pediatric & Congenital Heart Surgery, Ablations, Angiography, and ASD/VSD closure. She is a member of the Paediatric Cardiac Society of India, Asia Pacific Paediatric Cardiac Society, a Lifetime Member of the Indian Association of Paediatrics. Under her credit, there are over 100+ national and international publications and accredited journals.
