About Dr. Patricia Kho Sunn Sunn Dr. Patricia Kho Sunn Sunn is a pioneered Medical Oncologist at Mount Alvernia Hospital, Singapore. With nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Patrician holds active interests in lung, head and neck, breast, and gastrointestinal cancers.  After completing her basic medical degree from the University of Newcastle, she continued her specialist postgraduate training in medical oncology at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. In 2003, she was elected to be a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Subsequently, she pursued a Master of Philosophy (Medicine) from the University of Sydney with a research thesis entitled “Optimising Adjuvant Treatment for Colorectal Cancer”. After returning to Sydney in 2005, Dr. Kho joined as the Head of the Department of Medical Oncology at Liverpool Hospital. At the same time, she was the Director of the clinical trial units and a clinical lecturer. In 2009, she joined the Syndey Adventist Hospital to pursue her academic interests. She is actively associated with various professional bodies including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Medical Oncology Group in Australia, the International Association of Lung Cancer, the Australian Lung Trials Group, and the Australasian Gastrointestinal Trials Group.
