About Dr. Paul Macnamara Dr. Paul Macnamara is a noted and experienced Orthopedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon with +25 years of experience.  His professional affiliations to medical societies include the memberships of the, General Medical Council (UK), British Orthopaedic Association, the Saudi Council and the Dubai Health Authority. Dr. Macnamara did his medical education from the University of Leeds, UK between 1991-96, followed by surgical training between 1997-01, Master of Science from the University College of London between 2001-02, higher surgical training between 2006-12, during which he also earned his fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009. During the training, he presented and published papers on a broad range of orthopaedic topics.  Thereafter, he earned fellowships from Canda and China between 2010-12. He also has a certificate of completion of training from UK, 2012.  Dr. Macnamara is an expert at, cartilage surgeries, primary and revision hip arthroplasty, knee arthroscopy sports injuries and trauma surgeries.  He pursues academic interests and is involved in exam preparation for junior surgeons.  Dr. Macnamara has been awarded the Excellence in Teaching award for UAE University in 2017.
