About Dr. Peter Lee Yew Chung Dr. Peter Lee Yew Chung is an orthopedic surgeon having more than 20 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes adult spine disorders and pediatric orthopedic surgery. Following his graduation from the NUS, Dr. Lee attended the University of Liverpool to earn his master’s degree in orthopaedic surgery. He next accepted a fellowship at Melbourne Children’s Hospital in paediatric and spinal operations (Australia). He serves as a guest consultant for the Seychelles Ministry of Health, KK Women and Children’s Hospital, and National University Hospital. He had also served as a consultant to important hospitals in Singapore and abroad and was a lecturer at the National University of Singapore’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery (NUS). In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Lee served as President of the Singapore Orthopaedic Association (2010) and the ASEAN Orthopaedic Association (2009). For the purpose of educating physicians in the ASEAN nations, he established the ASEAN Orthopaedic Outreach Program. Additionally, he assisted in disaster relief efforts during the tsunami that hit Indonesia in 2005 and the earthquake that struck Solo, Indonesia (2007). Dr. Lee has received a number of honours, including the Norah Walk Prize for the M.Ch. Orthopedic Examinations (1989) and the Young Investigator Award at the Singapore Orthopedic Association’s annual scientific meeting in 1990 and 1991. Dr. Peter Lee Yew Chung is fluent in English, and Malay.
