About Dr. Pimkwan Jaru-Ampornpan Dr. Pimkwan Jaru-Ampornpan is an Ophthalmologist of +10 years with focus on ophthalmic surgeries that also includes ophthalmic cosmetic surgeries. Interestingly, she pursued medical studies after completing her Bacheror’s in Arts in 2007. She earned her MD in 2011 from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, USA. She then did a fellowship in 2017 from the University of Michigan, USA followed by additional qualifications from the American Board of Ophthalmology in 2017 and in Thailand in 2019. She is among the very few ophthalmologists to have been certified by the Americal Board and practicing in Thailand. Dr. Jaru-Ampornpan specialises in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgeries. Her focus areas are treating patients with orbital, eyelid and lacrimal problems. She also performs blepharoplasty, cataract surgery, lacrimal system cancer surgery, eye removal/anophthalmic socket/eyelid retraction/cosmetic eyelid surgeries.  She also treats other conditions such as, blurred vision, red eyes, eye pain, facial rejuvenation, orbital decompression, sunken eyelid repair, dry/tearing eyes and canalicular laceration repair among several other conditions. Dr. Jaru-Ampornpan has co-authored several research papers on various aspects of her practice.
