About Dr. Pitulak Aswakul Dr. Pitulak Aswakul is a leading and an experienced General Surgeon with a practice of +25 years.  She completed her MD in 1996 from the Khon Kaen University, Thailand and then did a graduate diploma in 1998. In 2000 she studied internal medicine at the Thai Board of Internal Medicine. In 2005, she earned a board certification from the Thai Sub Board of Gastroenterology while studying at the Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand. In 2011, she earned a certificate in advanced endoscopy from the Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand. Dr. Aswakul is a specialised surgeon with specialised focus on laparoscopic surgeries for bile duct stones, does liver resection, and also does pancreatic gastrostomy. She particularly treats liver diseases, colorectal diseases with surgery too. She also performs endoscopies.  She has co-authored a few research papers on the surgical and clinical aspects of her field of expertise.
