About Dr. Praveen Kulkarni Dr.  Praveen   Kulkarni is  a well experienced interventional  cardiologist with over 19 years of experience.   His specialization is in coronary and non-coronary interventions of the heart. His vast amount of experience consists of performing coronary angiography, primary percutaneous intervention and complex angioplasties, pacemaker implantation, percutaneous valvotomies and device therapy in heart failure among many others. He has mastered use of the latest  technologies including IVUS (intra-vascular  ultrasound), FFR (fractional flow reserve) etc.   He is one of the first doctors in India to implant the revolutionary bioabsorbable stent. He has particular expertise and specialization in percutaneous procedure through the radial route. He is trained from prestigious medical institutions of the country. After completing his MD (Medicine) from PGIMER, Chandigarh where he topped the final MD exam. Dr. Praveen  Kulkarni did DM (Cardiology) from G B Pant Hospital, Delhi.  Working alongside the best cardiologists, he mastered the nuances of interventional cardiology.  As an astute clinician, he continues his academic endeavours at national  and international  forums.  He  has  published articles  in indexed  journals,  given talks at various CMEs and  conferences.
