Maimonides Children’s Hospital is the only Children’s Hospital in Brooklyn, caring for children 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It includes Brooklyn’s only Pediatric Trauma Unit, part of our dedicated Pediatric Emergency Room.

Maimonides Children’s Hospital doctors are board-certified pediatric experts in more than 20 pediatric specialties, from newborn medicine and primary care/wellness to pediatric cardiology, pulmonology, surgery, gastroenterology and more. Our pediatric oncologists and hematologists are part of the Children’s Oncology Group, offering families the opportunity to participate in clinical trials for novel therapies for different pediatric cancers.

Our dedicated pediatric team includes clinical professionals who ensures each child receives the expertise, support, and best care possible in an environment designed for their comfort. Our Child Life specialists offer children, adolescents, and their families developmentally appropriate activities while in the hospital, education, and preparation for medical procedures, as well as emotional support while at Maimonides.
